Jen's Journal

Hey kids, this is Jen (aka

belle_laide). I want to be able to be a little more open about things and with the whole six degrees thing being narrowed down to something more closely resembling three and a lot of assholes, I decided that I need another journal. So here it is.

I've either added you because you're a good friend, I don't know you well (or at all) but you seem cool and have been nice to me and/or (most importantly), because a bunch of drama isn't going to come from something so ridiculous as a tale of a trip to the grocery store or the laundromat. For me in a way, life in Austin (and dealing with LJ stuff by extension) has been like being in a tabloid, only without being rich, famous, or beautiful. It's seriously gotten to the point where I can't go to a party or bump into random acquaintances on the street without having to hear details of some fictitous story about myself or whoever I'm dating at the time. Fuck all that.

My life has changed dramatically (for the better)in the last 6 or so months and I'm tired of having to read all about the negative, hateful people I've finally eliminated from my life. It's trivial, sure, but I'm considering this another fresh start. Yay.
